[Electronic] BT – Le Nocturne De Lumiere

BT - Le Nocturne De Lumiere
Featuring a change in time signatures half way through, a plethora (great word) of genre’s covered and more attention detail then the IRS – this track is nothing short of music magic. BT, real name Brian Transeau, created it for his album ‘These Hopeful Machines’ as a “proof concept”, showing his metric convultion technique – aka. mental time signature change. This creation kind of messes with my head a bit but it re-affirms how BT fits the bill as an artist.

Don’t expect to be bouncing around the room with this one – but instead take a moment out to appreciate this pretty immense work from BT.

[NEW] Jack Beats – ‘All Night’ (ft. John B) + Skream remix

So Jack Beats are at it again. Soon to be embarking on the US tour, they’ve released this video showcasing their new upcoming single (released on 24th April) along with a pretty immense remix by none other than Skream!

Made up of Beni G (Mixologists) and Plus One (Scratch Perverts), Jack Beats are one of my favourite electro acts out there right now – with this latest track, whilst not a club banger like ‘Drop the Presure’, it is definitely one to get you moving.

// Now onto the Remix, well it’s Skream – and because you see that name you know you’ve gotta hit the play button and I’d highly recommend that you do. It’s 10 variations of awesomeness all wrapped into a single track 😉

[House] Swanky Tunes ft. Mr. V.I. – Together (Hard Rock Sofa Remix)

Hard Rock Sofa

Hard Rock Sofa have remixed the latest Swanky Tunes track – Together featuring Mr V.I. and added some huge sounding strings and even phatter (yep I just spelt fat with a PH) beat to it. This one has got a real Swedish House Mafia feel to it and is very addictive.

For those of you who are new to Hard Rock Sofa, it’s project setup in 2005 by a group of Russian DJ’s/producers – all with distinctly sounding Russian sounding names –  Alexander Shapovalov, Denis Chepikov and Sergey Zuev. They’ve done some killer remixes in the past so do check them out on their Soundcloud for previous tracks.
