Broken Bells–the eclectic pairing of Danger Mouse and James Mercer from The Shins–are finally ready to embark on a new journey together, gearing up for the release of After The Disco, the follow-up to their 2010 self-titled debut. The first offering from the project, “Holding On For Life,” feels like the beginning of a funky, psychedelic spage-age odyssey, which might explain why the band has also put together an accompanying sci-fi film starring Kate Mara and Anton Yelchin.
