Professional (Kicks N Licks Remix)
If you’ve been following our posts here on TMN, you know who Andy Joplin and Jerrod Jordan are, or KnL, as we call them. This DJ/Producer duo is heavily rooted in melodically focused bass music, which is why we’ve kept writing about them over and over again. This time around, we’re featuring their latest release, which happens to be an artist often remixed.
In this take on The Weeknd’s “Professional,” we’re offered up some hearty 808s in accompaniment to soft flowing synths, ethereal production, and delightfully treated vocal samples. It’s sexy, sultry and is probably going to make it on a few of you ninja’s “Bedroom Mixes.”
